Yeah I watched this the other night. TBH I know very little about the church of scientology but you have to question the ethos behind it just because one the "leaders" was overly aggressive and irrational. I think he'll still be completely ignorant to the fact that his actions would have caused more damage to the credibility of their "religion" than cooperating with an investigative journalist. Idiot.

scientology was created by L. Ron Hubbard, a sci-fi author. it's basically like a pyramid selling scheme, where the more "disciples" you get to join and the more money you donate, the higher up "the pyramid" you get. eventually, you're supposed to get to the top tier, and learn the ultimate secret to life, the universe & everything.

L. Ron Hubbard also used to live on an old cruise liner, 15 miles off the american coast, so that he could indulge in his penchant for under age girls without getting arrested.

Presumably once you get to the top you kinda like having power over a few hundred
people who do anything you say and forget about the secrets of the universe.

That guy in the suit who kept on popping up everywhere reminded me of Tom Cruise and deserved a fish to the face.

And the religion is a joke when they employ a Black Baddie look-a-like from James Bond to stalk the director.
