Restrict Grenades?

Further to my post in the round 2 results thread, I would like players feedback as to whether you would like nades restricted to one (ie restrict incendiaries or frags).

I'm not too sure if this happened in any of the other groups, but group A on Kill House turned into a frag fest with very little in the way of kills being made by actually being a "sharpshooter". All players in the post game lobby agreed that it kind of ruined the game for everyone involved but it was a good intense game netherless...even if it was highly frustrating.

Basically the lower ground level near the midpoint of the map turned into a choke point for grenades and players werent able to show off their true skills. It wasn't the players fault as there were some highly skilled players in this group, but may be an oversight in the game settings even though I've never witnessed this before on Kill House tbh.

I cant see this being a problem on any of the other maps tbh (streets, casino vault, calypso casino or lvu campus) but would like your opinions as to whether nades should be restricted to one to prevent this from happening again.

Yeah Kon i was in your match and every time i tried to run anywhere near the tunnels in the middle i was always hit and killed by a stray grenade. Although it was a good match I thought the grenades spoilt it tbh. I really think Grenades should be restricted on Kill House, but if they were restricted you would have the problem of people camping in rooms in the buildings, I think Kill House is a really really poor map for FFA imo. Throughout that game all but 2 of my deaths were from people killing me through sharp shooting.

Had the same problem with Group C, its just Kill House which has a real problem with frags, Streets was fine last week. Ah well, losers bracket for me :(

Personally i feel if the whole tourny had no Grenades then it is about who has the best shot.

That is somethin definitely worth considering Equinox but I dont think it would be too popular as nades are a tactical part of the game especially if you find yourself in a tricky situation, and by restricting to one it would make ppl use them more wisely.

I guess the use of nades sort of defeats the purpose of a Sharpshooter game...

and like you said, all it takes is a couple of tactical postions being held and you end up in a frag fest, (which doesn't really require that much skill), rather than relying on your reflects and skills as a shooter...

u need to restrict grenades.
me and the whole of nme play solo sharpshooter on a daily basis with many other clans joining us for warm ups.
and we always have grenades off and the game is so much better so restrict grenades and c4's then just use guns.
so no gps,no auto shotgun,no frags, no c4's and no incendinaires or how ever u spell it lol the shield dont matter becuase there so easy to kill.

Frags FTW, they are proberly the best balanced explosive grenade on the game

I agree but its lookin like a split decision mate.

I do think its down to the maps (in particular Kill House) as you generally dont get the frag fests we witnessed last week in sharpshooter...well not in the majority of games I've played in anyway.

like i said we regulary play solo sharp to warm up for clan matches and we have to restict grenades becuase its just stupid.
so many people just randomly throw grenades around to get kills and thats happened in each event so far.
