Yes, you can be any club team, and yes there will most likely be duplicate teams.

Do we have to chose a team, before the fixtures / groups are announced?

I want to be a team other than the predictable 4, but if i'm in a group of Inter's then I might have to rethink.

You choose your team on your first game n must stick with your selection throughout. It would have been included in the reg form but ppl tend to change there minds so it would have been pointless tbh! :D

The results threads will require players to state their teams so we will have a record of chosen teams from there. :cool:

I hate playin with injuries in topurnaments!

The reason for a tournament is to find the best player and that can only happen, if you dont have to be scared of your plaers health!

I mean the problem is that palyer injure themselves without opponents influence! (Not often but sometimes)

And i dont like to play only 10. minutes in group and can`t understand why!

If youi want the best one to win, you have to make it 15 minutes!

The rules are standard PES settings that MB360 have been using for over a year now & at our recent XL event, so at this point in time there is no need to change them. :cool:

Lol, thats a pure lie and you know it. For one thing they have the konami announced best player on the game.. That alone cant exactly mean they are rubbish can it. Accept the fact that arsenal are just as good on the game as anyone else.. Well maybe excluding Inter ;)

What i love about Pes6 over Pes5 though is that even inter are not overly unbeatable by other teams. There are many competative teams on the game, and when playing with clubs it really makes for interesting games. The chances of someone being able to predict the team of the winner is very small, alot smaller than international teams, or pro evo 5 anyway.

Good luck to everyone involved, and feel free to pick any team you want, dont be put off choosing the team you like to play with because people might complain or make sly comments (well unless your inter, then you deserve it.. ;) ) lol.

We need GTs so your opponent knows what GT to add if they are not on your friends list already. Any players without GTs in their profiles will be removed if they choose to ignore the requests to update their profiles. :cool:

Don't follow the crowd. Use the team that you want to.

I'm going out on a limb, but I'm using Reading, don't care who's in my group. If i win a few games it a bonus - it's about the taking part (yawn). Realistically no matter who I use, I won't make it past the group stage so might as well use the team I support, rather than one that I think i might win a few more games with.

More people should use different teams than the big 4, makes for a more interesting comp

Nope, just sick of seeing Barca/Inter etc in every game online - in my opinion a good player is a good player no matter what team they use. You have met me in person and heard my view on the subject of Brazilinho Kids! If I win I win, if I don't I don't. The only thing now is that I have a few friends in this competition and it's become more than winning, it's become a matter of Pride! International teams are not allowed in this competition...so tell them to change their team if that situation ever arises.

At the moment there are no confirmed prizes but I'm working on it.

I have three opponents in group A, that have been non-existent or non responsive, and seeing as I’ve never entered a matchbox360 comp before, I wondered what I should do.

Their either not replying on voice messages, I’ve currently left 4 to one guy when I’ve seen him on, none of them are supplying times when they can play, and although I know the deadline’s a while off yet, for me its a bit of a hassle, as I keep checking back here to see the situation, but to be honest I’m starting to feel I’m wasting my time. I certainly not going to voice message them anymore, as its just a waste of breath.

So whats the deal in situations like these. Cheers.

Let me guess, SMOKE is one of them. Look at his gamerpoints - he has never even played PES6, never mind owning the game and being in a tournament.

In other leagues I have been in, if someone consistently does not turn up or doesn't respond, he is removed and every other player gets a 3-0 victory for that fixture.

I obviously still need to play my fixtures, like I said I will be back Sunday night and on PES every night next week. Just bought a new Samsung 32" HDTV to help me play better, so who knows ;)

Yep, smoke is one of them reneadeds, but I understand he’s being replaced by Rob78 RIP 247 now. SoerenStelljes is the guy who I’ve seen on and voice messaged about 3 times now while he’s been playing top spin, but he hasn’t even come back to me. That’s seriously frustrating, because I know he’s got the message, so why not have the courtesy to massage me back explaining the situation. He’s posted that he’s busy, urr yeah, busy playing frickin top spin. And if your going to tell everyone that you’ve been busy and that you’ll try to get on at the weekend, surely its best to at least list times while adding the post.

And Fully Fluj Lej, still no match times listed nor any luck with the friends request.

I’m in two leagues as well, and its never this hard. Maybe I’m just jumping the gun a bit here and being a little over-enthusiastic, so I’ll take a back seat from now, but at least if they dont turn up and list times then admin can see I’ve made the effort. The rest of the guys in Group A have been fine and reliable. We’ll see what happens.

Turtle - granted it would be nice of me to list times. The truth of the matter is I live on average 3 hours away, in Cardiff - and so I can narrow it down to after 2pm and before 11pm. It has on numerous occasions taken me 6 hours to do the drive, and on other occasions taken just over 2 hours.

Sunday night is the earliest I could be on, if I play after re-arranging my room to take into account the HDTV I bought specifically for PES. It might take a while, I might be knackered. We have until 18th February to play them, and they will be. On Monday I will be online at 7 for most of the night, I can't be as specific about Sunday.

I don't even know if that section of your post was aimed at me, but I did make it very clear that after last Monday I wouldn't be able to play until at least Sunday. Wednesday was my 21st Birthday, and I live over 200 miles away from my girlfriend, so forgive me but in comparison I really don't care about a few PES fixtures this week.

Smoke has been taken over by Rob, so I will add him. Stelljes is online all the time and got my invite to play on Monday, but didn't.

I personally would rather one leg, World Cup style. However Champs League is 2, so for authenticity it's gotta be 2.

What happens if i miss out because someone dropped out? Would all games against said player then be void or would people be at an advantage if they'd already picked up points against him.

I could end up 3rd in my group cos he was a no show and i didn't get the chance to give him a beating of biblical proportions (i.e. like the beating of a ginger stepchild)
