Joined a game, Ranked, I was in private chat so I couldn't hear them.

Started playing, saw them Half way up stairs hitting each other?

Oh great achievement whores  so I wasted their time killing their leader each round, they sent me messages like "stop killing, we're going for revives" 'n' "quit, don't worry it wont take off your score".

Anyone else had a bad encounter or am I unlucky? also does the bad feeback option work?

Well I have a couple of problem with Gears of War.

However achievements promote this kind of behaviour but more the fact that people will always look for the easiest option to get the Achievements, just the way people think.

So they could take this two different ways, be alot harsher and make it harder for people to "boost" or simply make it easier for people to play games with people they know and enjoy and they can do whatever they want in that game and let them do it in Private games.

Personally too many people are looking at games as unfinished unless you have all the Achievements, which is unfortunate. As I enjoyed the Single Player/Co-Op more than Multiplayer and this is reflected in my Gamerscore/Achievements but people see I haven't got 1000 out of 1000 and say I've still got more to do.

So after that long rant basically needs to be a chance in peoples view...Just because you haven't got 1000 out of a game doesn't mean you haven't finished it. I think this would cut down on alot of boosting but I personally don't see anything wrong with it just do it in Private thats all and it should be allowed and not restrained. It's not like they are cheating if they are choosing to do it in the most boring way possible then so be it, they are only taking the fun out of it for themselves. There's not much you can do about people being whores though.

the bigist problem i find with gears of war is when people on your team quit leaving you out numbered fro the next round.

there is a much bigger penalty for leaving since the update. And apparently once someone quits a ranked match any kills after the person leaving are not counted on ur overall score - ie towards 10,000 kills....

^^ Nope.

If there's only two people on the other team after quitters, then stats do not show up on the leaderboards. But they still count towards your achievements.

Yea, a good tip is to make sure the host leaves first, that way the game will know (for sure) the game is over and you just haven't quit. That's been quite annoying so i always make sure the host leaves first.
