Yep already saw this, and now i have my PS3 roll on June/July, theres a demo out for it next week too!! Unlucky webley you will have at least another year to wait for some ninja gaiden goodness, theres tons of new things to do in sigma, so this will keep me going nicely over the summer :)

Double post but justified. Just played the demo, the graphics have a definite improvement, but the first level does not do it justice, the controls took some getting used to and i got beaten by the first boss lol im a tad rusty. Overall though the framerate is perfect, its one of the smoothest games now, havent seen any new animations in the demo but the shaking of the controller to strengthen shunpo is a nice touch. So basically gaiden has me hooked again, i will be replaying this demo till i am a master ninja again with the ps3 controller and i cant wait for the game to be released this summer to check out all the new goodies :)

After playing it again webley you should be very annoyed you dont have a ps3 right now, just got greater ninja now on the first level which is the demo, then unlocked the special missions to play as rachel, shes alright but i prefer playing as ryu, the enemies look alot nicer too as they put you up against a fair few in that, especially the dragons!!

So yeah anyone who loved gaiden and is considering a ps3 this would be a console seller for me.

On another note i got a free copy of casino royale blu-ray through the post today, couple that with free online gaming no need for recharge packs etc and my PS3 purchase has become a very reasonable price :)

tbh mate, i'm not bothered aboot a ps3. i had a dig round me mate's last weekend and came away feeling slightly underwhelmed. i played motor storm & resistance, and they didn't really seem to offer anything new, except for 1 thing - the sense of scale. the tracks on motor storm & the maps on resistance felt HYOOGE. however, this happy feeling was FAR outweighed by the disgusting controller. i thought it was hideous, particularly while trying to play resistance - in order to pull the triggers, i could only have 2 fingers 'round the grips on the pad. yes, i have big hands.

BUT - i have always rated the ps pads as the ultimate beat 'em up pads (apart from arcade sticks), so i should imagine it works rather well for gaiden.

my main reason for jealousy, is that there is NO WAY i'm buying a ps3, and i really, really, really want a new gaiden game for my 360 :(

it looks like ninja gaiden black with a little bit more enimes and u can play racheal, but those doulble swords look cool

lol webley im saying at missing gaiden not the ps3, must of mistook me, the ps3 right now isnt anything special but i have enjoyed motorstorm more than any 360 game, resistance is very underwhelming for me but im used to the pc for fps now. As for the controller it felt wierd at first and i would say the 360 is better for fps terms but anything else and the ps3 controller is far better, for gaiden it feels just right.

Anyhow back on topic, if you arent going to buy a ps3 then you have to hope the new gaiden will come soon as juging by the demo alone Gaiden 2 should be amazing. I just found out i could use all the weapons at the start of the demo so have been tearing through it with dual swords. They have even added rankings in for the demo so trying to get through that now only in the top 5000 for both just now.

Evil there should be alot more content than black and yes playing as rachel is somethign new although she feels too sluggish in comparison with ryu. Oh and anyone who has a ps3 who is wondering where the hell the demo is you have to make a japanese account.
