Resistance is better than any of the 360 games I've played

What do you like about it may I ask? If you say the Graphics then I will actually stab you.
I don't know much about the actual story line, but from what I played everything was pretty poor. Graphics were especially terrible.

The gameplay, the graphics wern't bad at all, the story was great and online it's like every online FPS should be.

Gaskin are you on medication these days, i have resistance and the graphics are as good as any 360 game, in most areas exceeding them, so how are they bad, or are you now explaining in a roundabout way all 360 games have bad graphics. That must be it. The game is better than anything the 360 has to offer, i can say that without a doubt, but its not a great game either. If i was not so used to playing fps on my PC i would rate it higher.

If you think Graphics are good on resistance, then you must be blind. Just look at the trees. Point proven.

おげんき です か。
OH NO the trees, my eyes are burning, psssha, come up with a better point, such as the dodgey textures on some surfaces, trees are not given priority in fps games suprisingly. Half life 2 is is a great looking game, do i slanderise it as bad graphics because some of the boxes look bad? No because the overall feel and look is spot on, its the same with resistance.

Trees with leaves. I thought that would be obvious as they look so ****. It's okay, you can continue to believe that it's a good game and the PS3 is actually a decent console. I'm not going to interfere in your dreamworld anymore.

I think its obvious who's living in the dream world ;)
To call the PS3 bad is just naive.

That's exactly my problem - a complete lack of anything even slightly worth playing on it. I had a good play of Motorstorm and Resistance in PC World,
and on both games I was like... 'eugh'. It's so bland and boring, the games didn't feel like they had any 'soul' at all. The controller is horrible (you
would have thought Sony would learn) and is far too light, and the games were distinctly uninspiring. Meanwhile, I have a 360 with Forza 2, PES6, Guitar Hero 2,
and soon enough Halo 3, and it's actually exciting to play. I think if the PS3 didn't say 'Playstation' or 'Sony' on it, it would have flopped and gone out of production
by now - it's just not good enough at the moment. I'm looking forward to a few games (MGS4, Uncharted, Ratchet) but I'm really not fond of the whole 'keep waiting,
eventually we will have something worth playing' mentality from Sony.

Xbox 360 release - November 22nd 2005
Forza 2 release - June 8th 2007
Guitar Hero 2 release - April 6th 2007
PES6 - October 27th 2006
I see no sense in your non fondness of the "keep waiting mentality" if your favourite games came out well after a year of the console being out (except PES).

When did I say I purchased the 360 on launch?
Those are my current favourite games - I have games that came out at the launch of the 360 (Kameo, PDZ) and enjoy them too. I mentioned three games off the top of my head that at the moment I am absolutely loving (apart from PES, which is love/hate with me lol) and which the PS3 catalogue in it's entirity can't compete with at the same time. When the 360 was launched, the price tag could be justified a lot more easily than the PS3 price tag, and still can - and let's bear in mind that the games I listed that I actually want for the PS3 are still scheduled for mid-2008, approximately 18 months after the street launch of the PS3. So even if you want to use the games that I listed as current favourites, you still shortened the timespan it will take to get a PS3 game I actually want.
The thing is, there is no reason at all for the criminal lack of decent PS3 'next-gen' exclusives - we need to remember that the PS3 was finalised and games were scheduled to be released just four months after the 360, in March 2006, which is when the PS3 was launching - before the Blu-Ray diode shortage stopped their production. Resistance was finished and ready for a March 2006 launch, as were the other launch games, which means that with developers being given an extra 12 month time before launch of the PS3, we are still waiting for something to justify it. So the games I want to play are due to arrive 26 months (March 2006-May 2008, scheduled MGS4 release) after the PS3 was ready to launch. Compare this to what many believe to be the main 360 killer app (Gears of War) which had a comparable budget and scale to MGS4, and was released exactly 12 months after the physical launch. That's the problem - in the same timescale, the PS3 has NO killer apps ready. Considering the massive price tag of the PS3, Sony needed to do a lot more to justify it to people - the price of the 360 can be much more easily justified when comparing it to the price of the PS3. Sony havn't given us anything worth ?425 in what has been the equivalent of 15 months of development time (from the March 2006 finalisation date). You are confused by the fact that the PS3 wasn't available for purchase until March 2007, and are forgetting that it was ready a year before that, and devs had final development kits in September 2005. Sony have had a LOT of time to bring us what they themselves promised (very comparable to the timespan of the 360) and have so far failed. They are actually lucky their production line was shut down due to diode shortage - I fear that if more people knew when Sony's machine was ready to launch, Sony CEE would have gone to the dogs long ago. Ignorance is bliss - of course it's only 3 months since the PS3 was ready...
Let us also remember that as of the latest sales figures, the PS3 is rock bottom of gaming hardware sales, below the Game Boy Advance. Alarm bells should be ringing, yet with the big games not due until next year, they are giving off a real air of complacency. And for the company that said 'we could sell millions of units even if we didnt release a game', it makes me smile.
I will get one when it's worth it. I'm not knocking the PS3 itself, more Sony's incompetence and arrogance. I think it's a great piece of kit and I'm certain it will outpower and outperform the 360. However, there are still no bloody games worth playing on it!
