Do you think there will be a new playable race on multiplayer in Halo 3?

Its been confirmed that there will be at least one new gametype for H3. Race would be dissapointing though. Imagine going into MatchMaking and having to play the race gametype.

I thought the Brutes were going to be playable personally.

I used to like messing around with Warthogs on Halo 2, i got extremely bored with it and now prefer to play MLG on Lock Out, shame none of my friends like playing it. Not that i have many Halo 2 players on my friends list anymore. *sighs*

I have one or two, but kind of 'grew out' of Halo 2. It's only when you play other games and see how mind bendingly better they are than Halo 2 that you think 'what was all the fuss about'. Halo 2 has possibly the worst online community in the world - not to mention the absolutely insane amount of cheaters still infesting it. To be honest, that's my main worry about Halo3 - and I'm nt quite sure Bungie know how to stop it.

Halo 2 should be dead by now and its quite a feat that anyone is still playing it on XBL, The online banter is head and shoulders above any game in how bad it is. I agree that for some reason on Halo 2 you just get smack talk every other game. But i enjoy that side of it but i can fully understand why people don't.
Cheaters should burn in hell and i really do hope Bungie have something better than the "Bahammer" patch which did nothing to stop cheaters on Halo 2.
And i would say the brutes would be a safe bet for a playable race in H3, *Runs off to place a bet
