We've had this on the old forum, but with the switch I thought it would be good to start it again. Quite a few of us have seen each other at XL and others on video chat, etc, so there really isn't an excuse any more to not post your picture. :p It'll also be quite good as I'm sure you can't remember who everyone at XL was.

Just make sure you don't offend anyone when commenting on their picture and we should all get along just fine.

I can, since then it's not been actually cut, i've wanted to grow it long for ages and at XL it was about time to cut (to goto the sort of length in that picture.). Now it's a fair bit longer and coming along nicely! Never have longish hair before, let's see if I can hack it! 8)

Hard to say, i'm not even sure yet. Not really crazy long, but the kind of length that (arguably, depends on the ladies) works for men. The thing is, I'll try it, and I don't like it, I'm not getting the desired reaction *cough* i'll cut it off, no problem... I've got a fairly good reaction so far with my hair band at football, so it's encouraging... :P

The new stuff that's comming out is great. I love the way it's expanding into so many different flavours.Every Time I die, Slipknot, Stone Sour, Enter Shikari, Bullet For My Valentine,

Thought Sevendust was quite good but the wife didn't get into it. She's more hooked on Cory Talor (I'm a bit jealous!), Trivium and Nickleback.

The new album from In Flames was awesome. Take this Life was my Favorite.

Started listening to Linkin Park as that's growing on me. Still not overly keen on the rap/hip hop style but the music is good. Papa Roach and Getting Away With Murder album I liked but not keen on their other stuff.

I love Killswitch. In my van I could just drive to it forever

Don't mind a bit of Brit Pop like Placebo or Power Pop. Bought the Silverstein album can't remember the name now. A few good tracks. The wife bought of Love and Lunacy by Still Remains and I really got into that.

If I've got the TV on it's usually on Scuzz if it ain't on the Xbox hehehe:D

Whoa i dont think i've ever known a 40 year old with a music taste like that! They're all very "teenager-ish" metal bands, haha.

I agree with the Sevendust, i started listening to them again recently, and they're amazing. The riffs they have never cease to be heavy and really catchy. The lyrics are really angst-y sometimes, which is great because i'd rather hear it that way than some lame emo whining about it.

In Flames have always been pure brilliance, with that mix of melodic death metal and harmonic vocals. Saw them on the Unholy Alliance Tour and i dare to say where one of my favourite bands of the night, almost better than Slayer! Oh, and i used to play Take This Life on drums pretty much every night :p.

Thankfully, the only words of advice my Father gave me was "Wearing white socks with sandals could start a war - wearing either on its own could cause a minor skirmish between two Beamish brothers". They're Nike runners with a bit of reflective material; hence the white from the flash of the camera. Still have that pair.
