I hope so. if not i think i may have to go for the pc version.
i can only imagine it be real difficult without as the keys on a keyboardhave so many functions. like selcting groups of units 1-0 . and all the shorcut buttons like gurad selecting all air units.
will bve interesting to see how this will work. and does anyone know if its true about being able to play pc against xbox?

No, at least i havent read anywhere in the manul about it. the controls are alot more complex, theres the reverse move mode where you put the tanks in reverse so you have the hardest armour taking the damage.

Sounds essential that keyboard n mouse is available for this. Any news on a release date for C&C 360?

Ahhhhh the keyboard and mouse on the 360....... I'm not at home atm so i haven’t got the links handy but there is an adaptor available for the 360 and it costs around $80 (dollars).
I have spent a lot of time reading reviews on it and the best i can advise you is that it "seems" that overall people love it. All the reviews even the good ones admit that some games it doesn’t improve the controlling system but on others its 10/10. Games like COD3 have been quoted to be hand in hand with keyboard and mouse and GoW even seems to be more stable but takes getting used to.
I will be getting one for Halo 3 but i'm holding back to wait and see if another improved adaptor comes out before the realise of Halo 3 as this current one doesn’t support voice and has no input for your XBL Mic. I did read somewhere that u can plug your normal controller in and somehow combine them but it sounds messy and i'll just hold back and see if they realise another one with voice support.
Again sorry i have no links but im not on my PC atm, when i get home in a couple of hours i will post up links and photos and even a youtube clip of it working :)

Update:
I have now just ordered all the things i need to convert to keyboard and mouse which are:
* XFPS 360 keyboard and mouse adaptor
* Wired controller
*wireless headset.
I will let you guys know how the delivery went of all these things and if i recommend the stockers and of course a review of the products themselves
EDIT:
Well i have had for about 4 days now and played a fair bit so here's what i think:
*Locks out too much and the worse thing is u have to unplug and re-plug in the adapter to get it to work again which is just a joke!
*Too much of a delay with the mouse movements, the thing is always running behind what u ask it to do and even worse it tries to catch up with the result being it sending your aiming skipping around constantly. Bottom line is your losing the quick aiming u have with a mouse set up - bad.
*Price - I would pay $50 od quid for a decent adapter but this is garbage
Sorry atm there are no + points for this set up as compared to the SmartJoy that i had for the Xbox this thing is as much use as a Chocolate Tea pot ! I haven't given up completely yet though im updating my Mouse and Keyboard just to make sure its not my old hagged set up which doesn't like this adapter. Ive bought
"Zboard 'MERC' Gaming Keyboard (PC)"
"X-Raider Gaming Mouse 800dpi (PC)"
"X-Raider Gaming Mouse Pad: Blue (PC)"
If it doesnt run sweet with them im not going to be happy, who knows i might even have to play with a controller :(
