The PS2 has so many great games but i think my top three are:
> Naruto
> Wipeout Fusion
> Final Fantasy X

> Buzz - the big quiz. fun multiplayer game (sports quiz is good to)
> James Bond Nightfire - one of my fave shooters on the PS2, good split screen multiplayer
>Time Splitters Future Perfact - same reason as above
>Gran Turismo 4 - highly enjoyable racer with great detail and graphics
>WWE Smackdown Shut Your Mouth - awesome fun, used to play it with my friends using a multitap and 5 players on the same screen is brilliant. You get hit in the back when you're fighting someone and by looking around the room for someone sniggering you can tell who it was and you go after them till someone else attacks you
> PES 5 - my most played PS2 game because it was the best (despite the niggly fouls that deservedly got taken out for PES6)

I didn't actually say it could only be 3 or 5.... You can name as many as you want. Exclusives, ports and multiplatorm titles.

I never really got into the PS2, but i remember enjoying:
Red dead revolving
Vice city
GTA3
PES 3,4,5,6
Conflict desert storm 1&2
Spiderman 2

I enjoyed playing through GTA3 more than anything else.
PS2 had some good games but I cant be arsed to remember them.
GTA3 number 1 though.

All the PES games. Only game i really played for my Playstation 2 except abit of Timesplitters which would be a brilliant multiplayer game for the 360. :)

and from the couple of months i spent on god of war, i'll say that aswell. Altho tbh i preferred Ninja Gaiden (please don't flame me for that)

Have to pull you up on these, neither of the originals were godly but they created near perfect sequals.
Just curious why you don't like these sequals? simply lack of originality?

I liked the charm of Jak, and that was lost when guns came into the equation.
Ratchet and Clank was also a cute, straightforward game, and the second pushed it too far. I always think that with platform games. For example, I love all the Crash games, but the first is by far the best.

Ah you see I loved the idea of taking high attention to detail games to the next level. Though I wouldn't even compare Jak 1 to Jak 2.
What makes me think highly of those games is the attention to detail and humour that you just don't see enough of.
