New competative Pes6 team.

Whenever I have played in a competative match or tournament on pes6, ive always used to chelsea as far as club teams go. Now ive usually enjoyed it, but more recently ive just got so bored of playing with them, and have felt that I dont use them as effectively as I used to be able to.

Then with the announcement of the random team tournaments that are coming up, I started using a few lesser teams for practise and really enjoyed it. Feeling ive learnt alot about other teams and also how to play the game more effectively.

Now though, with the announcement of pesrankings affiliation with matchbox, and after trauling through lots of random pes threads on pesfan, ive realised that I really do need to sort myself out with a new competative team.

I dont want to play as Inter. Out of pure moral I refuse, I also refuse to play as Arsenal since they are scum ;) (Even though i think they would probably suit my style of play perfecftly) And really dont fancy Barcelona.. Simalar to Chelsea except more common..

Anyone got any suggestions as a new competative team for me to try out or play as?

Looking recently, Ive been thinking possibly Real or Ac milan. I am currently playing some guy right now as Real, he is inter. I went 1-0 up and he froze the game, hense why I am creating this thread whilst I wait for the nob to quit ;)

I like lyon but i think the formation is similar to chelsea.

Valencia are awesome if you like a bit pace coupled with clinical finishing

Lesser teams are waaaay more fun!

I still consider Real Madrid to be a bit 'slaggish', it's just that less people seem to use them online.

I've been enjoying playing as Blackburn and Sao Paolo a lot lately. Be ready to have your ass handed to you while you get used to them, but they can be quite effective! Obviously not as skilled or fast so your formation needs to reflect that, but they are fun to use!

PS: I love the 'morally against Inter' comment from the guy that used Brazil at XL ;)

Lol and I am morally against brazil now too. I hadnt really played with international teams much before going to XL, I paid to enter a tournament that was dominated by Brazil players so i thought that since I was paying to enter I was gonna be them too! lol.

Real are SO hard to defend with!

Be Real. Stick Diarra at CB. He and cannavaro work wonders together believe me. If you play Inter, Diarra can just about hold his own against Adriano, and Canavaro is an all round don lol. As for ronaldo, OMG his dribbling is amazing.

The best Real user I've played used this formation (we played 3 times he beat me first time, game froze second time with me 1-0 up, draw third time)

The guy used alot of counter attacking which worked very well, especially coupled with his impecable control of ronaldo. Only criticism I have of this formation is Raul, I would have chosen cassano, maybe even as a sub for the last few minutes, or instead of RVN who didn't have the dribbling skills to match his strike partner or the rest of the team.

About Real - I always found Ruud to be a tremendous header of the ball, and with Beckham on the right could put a cross on his head almost every time. Of course you sacrifice speed, but you do gain a bit of verstility.

Yea, Ive found beckham to be a strange one as im used to playing with quick wingers. I like to have him in the team because of his ability with his crossing, corners, and freekicks, but its so frustrating to pass him the ball on the wing and have such a slow player out there!

Ive already been trying out formations with Raul as a AMF, he works ok there, but i often do give cassano or reyes a go there later on in the match. Whenever I've played as real in the past, I found Beckham useful only for last minute corners. Sure he's the best player to deliver the ball from the byline, but how the hell do you get him down there?

Yeah maybe moving cassano or reyes there later on will work better. Having a fresh pair of legs running at you that late in the match, especially a pair with such great dribbling ability, will work better then when the defence are fresh.
