I am on BT broadband and pay for their lowest option 1 which has a 2gb per month limit
Had a few email's of them as ive been using around 30 gig and they said they will charge me for the extra per gig or I can upgrade to their unlimited for an extra
If you keep using that 28Gb can they take your connection off you? Might want to ring them up and ask a few questions. They'll try to sell it to you (by shouting "ITS REALLY GOOD!" down the phone and then whispering "but has hidden charges" a mile away) but just keep a listen out for the facts and then you can look at your options. Still thats a nice small price for such a large amount of data.

No in the email they just said if i continued to over use they would charge me per gig.
Which they have now done cause ive been using it for quite a few months (damn all those HD trailers lol).

Not blueyonder, well not my package anyway. It started as a 256Kbps line and since then i've been bumped up to 2mb, always had unlimited downloads / uploads and still paying the original

Get proof on bandwidth overages before paying the charges, heard reports of a number of ISPs getting it wrong and assiging bandwidth charges to the wrong customers.
