View Full Version : Condition Arrows?

Ive always checked the condition arrows, and in fairness always prefer to play on condition ser to normal. Ive only just realised though that I have absolutely no idea what effect they ACTUALLY have on the player, and that is why ive always prefered it to be set to normal.
Does anyone know for certain what changes with the condition arrows when they are up or down? Ive heard a few explanations, but most turn out to just be hearsay and no-one ive ever been told by seems to actually know for certain.
Anyone know what effect they actually have?

Well basically, what I think it does is...If the player's morale in less than normal(either blue or dark blue arrow) I find it harder to keep control of the ball, they just don't seem to perform like they should do. If it's an attacker, then the likelihood that they will miss good opportunities seem to be higher(well they do for me).
Exactly the opposite seems to happen if the arrow is orange or red, they perform better, it's easier to dribble with the ball, they don't lose the ball as easy, and more shots seem to go on target and are better placed. This isn't always a good thing though as the players fatigue seems to go down a hell of a lot faster depending on the player.
Well that's what I think happens to me.

Whilst trying to find the answer to my own question, I came across this:
http://www.geocities.com/neo_nuggy/pes3_formarrows.txt
Now I know that this was for Pes3.. But I wonder if it is still true, or at least simalar to the effect that they have in Pes6..
There is also a possiblity that this is complete nonsense and someone made it up of course..

Well it looks pretty similar to what I was trying to explain...but I didn't think it affected so many things.

They are massive changes though and in fact I am completely sure that they are not the same of pro evo 6, and doubt whether they actually existed like that at all. You would deffinitely notice if a player because +9 quicker from a red arrow etc.
Personally, although i dont know and that is why I am asking the question. I think that it probably does have a few points difference on stats like dribble acc, shot acc, pass acc and stamina.. But I really dont know and am hoping that someone can tell me for sure...

By the way - the arrow effects in PES6 are the same as in PES5. First time in the series that this has been the case.
