Alien Hominid coming to XBLA!

Well, it seems like this is old news. Everyone I've spoken to this so far knows about it already.

Anyway, Alien Hominid will come to Xbox Live Arcade at some point in the next few months. It's looking to be an exact port which I'm not really that bothered about as I sold it a while back.

If you've never heard about Alien Hominid or just want to relieve the first level, have a look at this video (http://www.gamevideos.com/video/id/8385). It's fairly bad quality, but shows most of the first level, even though the guy can't get past the boss.

Who else is looking forward to this?

Yeah, the announcement was ages ago, but this is the first video.

Never played of it before, but it looks like a lot of fun, and if it's on XBL it'll only be $10 max.. I'll probably pick it up.

Why do they keep bringing back these crappy really old retro games, they should bring back stuff like Bomberman and Streets of Rage to the XBLA. The majority of 360 owners are teenagers I'd guess, half of these titles they're releasing on to the XBLA aren't going to be known or wanted.

Alien Hominid isn't crappy. It's incredibly funny and just great to play.

It's not even old, the first version only came out in 2002. ;)

I've just been at their website (http://www.alienhominid.com/) again and I really want to have one of the T-shirts. I used to have one, but it's gone missing. :(

In the latest issue of the Official Xbox Magazine, Alien Hominid has been reviewed! It received a 7.5/10.

Pros
- Unique and compelling visuals.
- Action packed goodness.
- Co-op is excellent.

Cons
- It is over way too soon.
- The mini-games included aren't worth more than a few plays.

There are rumours that Alien Hominid is getting a release this week. xbox.com now has the Alien Hominid (http://www.xbox.com/en-US/games/a/alienhominidxboxlivearcade/default.htm) site up.

No Xbl multiplayer which is disappointing.

why don't you just spend the money and get a wii, those are both on the virtual console ;)
