does anyone know now to play iso games or homebrew games on a psp i have a 2.81v psp

yea, update ur PSP to 3.03 as u cant downgrade off 2.81.

Once u have ur PSP at 3.03, download the 3.03 downgrader and before u get started find a copy of GTA: Liberty City Stories. Now with GTA:LCS there are 2 versions, you'll be needing the prepatched version.

To identify the prepatched version there are a few ways, look at the spine of the UMD case and if u live in the UK then the game code will be..

Prepatched: ULES-00151
Patched: ULES-00151#2

Or alternatively, check in the preowned section for old copies of GTA, 90% of the time you'll find what u need.

If u have a copy of GTA:LCS that u can borrow off a friend then u can also check to see if it's prepatched by the Firmware version on the disc, it should be...

Prepatched: 2.0FW
Patched: 2.6FW

Remeber u dont want a patched version as it wont do anything.

Hopefully now u have everything u need to get going. Downgrade the PSP with the downgrader and with following the intructions correctly u should have a 1.5FW on ur hands.
With your newly downgraded 1.5 you now be needing the Custom 3.03 OE-C by Dark_Alex.
Follow the install instructions for the 3.03 OE-C and if successful you are a proud owner of a fully customised 3.03 OE-C PSP.

Now with ur PSP being 3.03 OE-C you can now run iso's off the memory stick and PSone games too.

(To Find all the files u need, head over to Gamerfreakz.net and go to the download section in the PSP area. Everything u need is there. Appologies for site linking if not allowed, but Gfreakz is the best i know for reliable full links for hacks and cracks and can be very useful for hombrewers).
