Devil May Cry 4 has now been confirmed for the Xbox 360. This ends all the speculations and rumours that have been circulating for more than a year. It was also stated that it will see a simultaneous release across the platforms.
Since the release of the original Devil May Cry in 2001, the series has shipped over six million copies thus making it one of Capcoms flagship titles. Fans of the series waited up to 6 hours to catch a glimpse of the demo at the Tokyo Games Show 06. There is more to come of the franchise though, an animated TV series is intended to air in Japan in Spring this year.
Capcom further stated that it is continuing to producing multiplatform titles to enhance profits whilst making titles that appeal to users.
