Omg, omg, omg, omg.

I would sell everyone on this site for one!

How the hell do you put that much shiny in that little space???

LOOK AT THE NEW IPOD INTERFACE!!!!!!!!!!!!1!!!1!11111! The 3d Album art with the flip and the tracks on the back! Damnit I want that. But I am pissed off like a monster, I just bought a new phone and a Zune. And my company which I got a contract with isn't Cingular..

But, lucky for MS, they pulled a wonder with that Zune Pass so even if I could buy it, I wouldn't. I bought the pass with my Zune and I've got 2200+ songs from it. There's no way I'm giving that up since iTunes doesn't have that..

Now I have to wait for MS to do one of those -_-

Oh, and 4-8GB? Such a joke with videos and music. I've got 15 on my Zune already.

Well, you're lucky with your zune, we can't get them over here and I think there is only a handful of members on the site who imported one.

And as for selling everyone on the site, erm, no. :p

$599 for the 8Gb one, the one that makes sense to buy, plus a 2 year contract... I put prices on them in the UK via eBay at well over

I'm wondering who they're trying to sell to. For $600, there won't be many average people who can afford it. Business people already have what they need, they don't care about sexy design or itunes.

My question is are there that many people who have $600 for the phone, and then $60 for the monthly data contract?

Mmmmm the iPhone be pretty, yaaarh!

Safari + Mail, on a phone. iChat style SMS conversations (it even makes the iChat bwwwooop noise!). Groovy motion sensors. OS X. I WILL have one.

No-ones mentioned the other stuff yet, so if you missed it, there was also Apple TV and a new 802.11n Airport Basestation.

The Basestation is hella sexy as expected, 3 port ethernet router + wireless. Huge range and the USB port, usually reserved only for printers now supports a harddrive. Woo NAS!

And the AppleTV. Sounds great if you buy stuff from iTunes.

I don't.

I've got to buy one of these! Only so that Jay would be in my possesion though.

Too much...:'(

Oh well I might get one further down the line but as of yet it's not going to happen, anyone wondering where the 3G was? Won't get much support surely unless it has that in for the UK market as companies have put so much money into it.

Any expansion slots aswell, by modern standards 8Gb is a light shy for a Portable Device that's meant to be "all things".

Cisco are suing them for copyright infringement. Apparently they already had an 'iPhone' on the market. Could be interesting.

This is the only phone that interests me as being 'more than a phone'. Up until now i am sick to death of phones saying they have this and that, but up to now i ahve wanted a phone to only be just that a god damn phone. However Apple are genius this is perfect, i do not like the cost of it one bit though and in know way would i pay that amount on a phone but its showing people how to do the job right.

Plus I have my Mac (Powerbook) and a new Ipod to buy first :)

It's all good...but there's no 3G :'(

We don't have enough WiFi Spots yet....So it's going to be somewhat pure in the Internet Access area in the UK.
