Not anywhere down here, they aren't. My friend went into every GAME staore [3 of them], Gmaestation and all the other shops and none of them guarantee it.

Well why didnt he just go on amazon.co.uk which have had them available and guarenteed on launch day for the past week, as is the case with most e-tailers.

Nothing like stores breaking the Sale of Goods act :D

you should get a train up to basingstoke - the stores here all seem to be madly offering them. haven't checked the availabilty myself, but may be worth giving them a ring at least?

why do you feel the need to criticise a man who is trying to make a living ?
please go buy your games from that shop, whats it called? tesco , thats it, yeah go give your money to the corporate giants and put small business's, out of business.

Bit harsh, Mazzy. He was only saying what most of us are thinking.
Have you ever bought anything from Nick?

There are absolutely no preorders left anywhere I've asked (which includes every bloody games shop on Merseyside :P)

why was it harsh? and i certainly wasnt thinking that at all.
no i havent bought anything from allthings360. does that make me a hypocrite? i dont think it does, i supported my local games shop in my town until gamestation came into town and put them out of business.

Dont get me wrong, i'm all for supporting the local small business (i buy from the local skate shops rather than the larger faceless mail order ones). But trying to pretend you're not in the business for the exact same goal is annying. Sure, he might value customers, but only so in turn he can get the most profits available.
And dont tell me he wouldn't love to be in the posisition Tesco's is :p.

Ring any stores in Cardiff for PS3s guys. Choices keep asking everyone that rents a DVD if they want a PS3 on launch day... Don't quite think Sony understand this time round that people won't pay it...

There are PS3 everywhere in lil olde Portsmouth, Curry's shop window is full of them.

Same in Preston area, 3 games and gamestation HMV all saying at the counter "DO YOU WANT TO RESERVE YOUR PS3 FOR DEFINITE DELIVERY____AH?!"
I was like, "yeah I would, if there were any games for it, it was ?100 less and it was this time last year".

Having attended and provided a huge amount of prizes for MatchBox360 XL in November, we would like to thank Nick and AllThings360 (http://www.allthings360.net/) for their continued support.
Whether you're looking to acquire a PS3 or any Xbox 360 hardware/peripherals/games, MatchBox360 would like to recommend that you consider using AllThings360 (http://www.allthings360.net/) when making your purchase.
You can access the AllThings360 (http://www.allthings360.net/) website via the XL mini-site (http://www.omnicide.co.uk/) or simply using this link:

I have to say, Nick was an absolute legend in getting my faceplate. He left me his details at XL, I emailed him the next day, and by the day after I had my brand new faceplate for free. I don't tend to buy online because I get company discount at certain places, but if I was buying online I would buy there. :p

Mate there is hardy no margin on new games, there never has been. What i would remind you is that allthings360 (www.allthings360.co.uk)was a big sponsor for XL and MatchBox and provided many prizes out of his own pocket, he has earn't the respect from me

We shouldn't be bullied into buying from independent places whilst we are getting ripped of. All those games can be found for half that price.
But respect to the guy for his support to you lot.

I think you will find that there is very little mark up/profit on games. Quite simply the large corporates are in a price war and it has knock on effects to smaller business who cant compete with them and are therefore pushed to the way side (ie you can buy games cheaper on the high street than a small business can at trade prices!). The very fact that you guys are talkin about pricing proves that it is a major issue.
Anyways the point of this thread is that our good friend Nick has the PS3 in stock, so if you're looking to buy one then head over to:

And here I was thinking that all the mark up was on software and accessories as reported countless times for the model for 360 and PS3.
The site needs to lose the intro and be about 500 times more user friendly, you can call me belligerent but I did send Nick a friendly e-mail advising him of the site's poor layout ages ago for his benefit [I was looking to buy and asked if he could rpice match a 360 for me as well, no response.].
At QS, yes mat after hearing the 360 version of C+C was going to be gimped my hands were tied, and they don't mind it one bit :D
