Does anyone watch The Wire? I'm 3 episodes into Season 1 and it looks pretty good.

Well it's a real shame - anyone who can be arsed, download the first episode and then I defy you to not watch more!

Charlie Brooker (legend) called it the best thing on TV in the last 5 years.

Not sure, I bought the DVD boxset. Some Sky channel, it was on HBO in the US.

I've never seen it on TV or seen any clips for it... most good programs are advertised

Well it has the highest rating for a TV series over at IMDB with 9.7, which is higher than the rating for any film there, so...
