Well yea, im not sure now, cause with the exchange rate at the moment $99.99 isnt all that much over here, around ?50-?60, but I would imagine it will be more than that..

That is it for the Legendary version? ?100? I would've thought more, especially thinking that Halo 3 in itself would be ?50, plus Halo and 2 and mappack which would be another 20-25 quid.

If you can actuallt wear the helmet, then it might be worth it :D
If it's just an ornament then I'd have to think twise.

Thats the lamest excuse for a money milking session I have ever seen. If I wanted to buy something decent related to halo give me a book of the concept arts or something, not some cheap **** that inevitably ends up falling down the back of the desk [best thing for it].

Where is the quality these days? ?.?

If I was like 20 years younger...I'd be tempted to get the legendary pack, so the silver tin will do just fine. As for the legendary pack contents:

Helmet - who cares?
Halo got it.
Halo 2 - got it.
Halo 3 - thats why I'm buyin it in the first place.
Bonus DVD - who cares? (prob download off the net for free)
H2 Multiplayer Map Pack - got it.

Cant blame em for offering more variations as Halo3 will set new records for gaming sales world wide...why give up the perfect marketing opportunity to cash in?

I'll get both the Legendary and Limited Edition.

Kon, that Legendary edition will probably be a good investment.

I'll just buy the standard version. Just the game will do me fine and I've never been one for special editions.

I think i'm probably going to get the Legendary edition, just because my parents owe me a game and i just figure i might as well get as nice as possible a game with there promies. :D

Forgive me if I'm wrong, but it doesn't come with Halo 1 and 2, it comes with the cinematics from it all as one movie. The helmet is the heat of a 360 DVD case, and about two thirds as wide - so it will probably fit a cat but not a human - it's ornamental only. The DVD I'm certain will be downloadable, either from MP for a small price or for free online.

Seems like an absolute waste of money to me - at the end of the day, buying the standard edition will put me in the same lobbies, with the same people, with the same weapons. I'm not gonna see your cat helmet or silver tin when I headshot you I'm afraid.

Where the hell would that crappy bit of plastic fit or go?

It covers a few 360 games in their holder. Absolute junk.
