Is there a glitch in which people can make the game freeze because it's happening to me a hell of a lot. I mean like I'm playing a guy who is completely ****, I'm 3-0 up after 10 mins and he wanted to pause the game. When the ball went out of play, i chose not to pause etc, but when the timer gets down to nothing, the game freezes. Now is there a way to do this because I'm getting really p****d off with this happening. The worse thing is, it's been frozen for like an hour, he wont leave and I'm reluctant to leave because I'm winning and therefore should get the points but he's even messaged me saying he isn't going to leave. Now wouldn't it just be sporting if he decided to leave. God I hate people like him.

I think there is a glitch where people can purposely do it, but the majority of the time it's just the game freezing. They don't choose to pause, the game just shows that they do. My way to beat this is to go message something saying: Oh dang, what went wrong there? I was kicked from the game. Maybe give you a re-match tomorrow? and then I'll go on appear offline. Sneaky.. but works almost 90% of the time.

Yea it is very annoying when people do this. I also do a very simalar thing to Dan. I usually send them a message saying something like:

'Oh, sorry mate, game must have froze, pes 6 seems to do that alot. Its very annoying, anyway ive just set up a game in the lobby, come find me if you want another.'

Works nicely, people either think that I am being genuine, or think that they have won and I am so niave that they could get away with it again, so they come looking...

Lmao, I'm gonna have to start doing this :)

And another thing that really annoys me about PES6, is the stupid people who feel the need to watch replays over, and over, and over again. I only ever watch a replay if I have scored an exceptional goal or a very worked goal, and even then I only watch it once. I played against some n00b the other day who chose Inter (big surprise there), he scored the shittest tap in with god knows who (don't think it was Adriano this time) then he watched all of the celebration, and the replay all the way through until he could control the camera and just ket going backwards and forwards with it...

When people do that I will do it back to them for the next five goals I score. They soon learn..

Picture the scene, i'm winning 2-1, its stoppage time in the second half, the focka scores to make it 2 - 2. He makes me sit through the celebration and all 3 replays. I'm furious by this point. The 3rd replay ends, I kick off, run up the pitch and score... he quits early lol... he must of knew on the last replay that ball would be flying in and out of the net for as long as it would let me. It felt good i can tell thee.

Right not sure if someone has already suggested this, but since I found out about this, its been a god-send!

I have two tatics for getting your own back on the replayer’s and game-freezers of PES.

1st. As as been suggested, do exactly the same to them. If your an OK player, you should be able to beat these types, and if they make you endure the replays, then do the same, and make them sit out the full timers - childish I know, and it makes you no better than them, but it does work and makes you feel a bit better. Also if they do make you sit through the replays, you can always play keep-ball which is good fun.

2nd. And this is the best one, and trust me it works. Right, you host the Ranked Match. Next when your opposition joins, check how many times he’s left a game. If its over 25, then presume he’s the type that tries to freeze the game, and in the set-up menu turn the pauses to 0. Chances are he won’t see you do this, so he’ll be shocked when he goes 1-0 down, and then realises he can’t pause the game. Trust me, its quality, and then he’ll start the replay’s, of which you return the favour.

3rd. But if you want to have pauses available in your game. Then leave it at three, and if your opponent goes a goal down, and then try’s to pause the game. Instead of waiting for him to run the timer down to do the Pause/freeze trick. Follow him out into the formation/team option page, make sure you actually go into the change player, and maybe select your goal keeper although dont actually make the change, and just wait for the timer to run down. Guaranteed, he wont be able to freeze the game!!!! How cool is that. So the game goes back to pitch side action working fine. He’ll be fuming, wondering why its not working. I think a lot of people has clocked onto this trick now, because the game freezers have dwindled the past month. So remember, everytime they pause, follow them to the team menu’s - they can’t run the clock down to freeze the game!!

Hope these points help.

Well I played someone last night, he was ranked about 750th, and he chose Barcelona...BIG shock there so i thought, seeing as the PES6 league is coming soon, I'll choose an average side such as Bolton. Believe it or not, I got into extra time after going 2 down only to get the score to 2 all. I was well happy, after the first half of extra time, the screen comes up to change players etc...and doesn't go off, even after the timer had gone down. He must of been so desperate to win, that he made it freeze just to spare the embarrassment of him maybe losing to an average/**** team. RETARD!

Oh and I found out last night, that if you use one of the poorer teams on the game, and play someone in a ranked match who has less points than you...you even get points if you draw...considering they choose someone like Inter, Chelsea etc. I so pissed someone off because they lost points even though I had more to start of with :D lol

Well, I've played a few of the top players, and they've always quit early. I played 'Crazydave flt' who was ranked ninth at the time. He was Inter, and he was absolutely useless; it was three-nil by half-time to me. After sixty minutes of play, he quit. I always check the 'Last 20 Results' page to confirm that I had won. So, I took a glance at his profile after the game to find that he still had his 121 winning-streak intact after I had defeated him (he's still up there near the top, the Inter-boy). I haven't confirmed this and couldn't be bothered to search for the answer, but I think that if you quit early, your winning-streak stays intact even though you lost.

I generally only watch replays when I construct a particularly good string of neat passes, and rarely watch to see my player finish off the move with the actual shot. I laugh, rather than moan, at players that think a good shot is anything worth watching again.

And Hursti, sometimes the game ****s up on its own, and the two players play two entirely different matches: you could have been winning 3-0 in the game and so could he have been. It's happened to me a few times.

I've got him on my friends list from Pro Evo 5...can't say I've ever played him on PES6. Not the usual guy I would have on my friends list if he quit early...

Unfortunately, there is a way for people to quit so both teams get a 3-0 win. I've managed to get to the top four hundred in ranked then i find this out. I've had it done to me a fair few times. I've only used it twice, and may i say it was on our friends who freeze the game up by letting the timer run down.
Alot of the top players have been doin it for ages, (i.e. Average goals scored/conceded. These will always be 3 and zero respectivley).
It's took the shine off my ranking too be honest.

I'll not advertise it here but if one of the admin know someone who could be made aware of it, and maybe put some weight behind an update (big ask) i'll be happy to provide details.

OMG! I am officially pissed off. I am in the middle of a game (well 25 mins in) 2 - 0 up and the person I am against has froze the game. He says he is 2- 1 up when he is blatantly lying because just before it froze, he was still trying to tackle me, the when the ball went out of play, he paused the game. Then sent me a voice message saying he's just scored and it's froze...sounds fishy to me.

That's it, no more pauses being allowed in my games unless I'm playing against friends!

Edit: Oh and not only that, he started to abuse me because I'm British  I was like "wtf, where you from" and even though on his profile it says the Uk, he tells me he's from Bangladesh...
