Why bother being inventive when you can just take someone else's idea, and put a few dents in the plastic casing!

To be honest, i don't think it looks as apealling as the PSP but is definitely worth a look at.

The PSP was appealing? To who? People who wanted to buy a really crappy gadget that made them look cool to their friends? Or just people who thought it seemed like a good idea, then realised that actually, the PSP was the worst purchase tehy had ever made.. Either way, The PSP was just pure shoddy.

I agree the DS although looked "dodgy" at the beginning was alot better however that was more down to the games. So if they do something they should make it appeal to both casual gamers and new gamers...Serious Gamers stay at home with WoW.

Well IMO, the PSP looks a hell of a lot nicer than this. And i don't think they're too bad, I mean they pass the time when you got nothing else to do at college :p

Of course I do...There's plugs all over the place and there's always one spare, if not, I unplug someone's laptop so I can plug it in :)

And what do you mean...some days i have like four hours free in which I cannot be arsed walking home...so in conclusion, i don't spend lots of time on my PSP

I have to disagree. I've never owned a handheld before [it just isn't for me], but I know many people bought a PSP and very happy with it.

UMD's, videos, games, ideal for journeys to work, in the car, train....

There are shocking! Unless everyday of your life you have a 20 minute journey somewhere which so so boring that you have to be very unsociable they have absolutely no use whatsoever. Tehy are supposed to be a handheld, on the go gaming device, but you have to spend all of your time sitting next to a plug socket anyway unless you really want to play a game for less than only a few minutes at a time.

The games they release though are remakes, or different versions of other Playstation games. These games were not designed to be played minutes at a time, but instead over a long period. I bet if you are honest with yourself, very rarely do you go on a game for a quick bash at a game whilst you are doing nothing. They would be far more useful if they also had games that were DESIGNED to be played on the go, and for pick up and play reasons. These games are out there and they are mobile games. Yes they dont look as shiny, but they are far more practical for on the go play. You dont have to save and very rarely would you even want to.

How many of you with PSPs have been waiting at a bus stop playing your PSP for the 5 minutes or so that you are there? There is no point because the games are not designed for that.

So, the only real way to get your moneys worth, and to actually play each game properly is to sit next to a plug socket.. WHY NOT JUST HAVE A PLAYSTATION!?

Honestly, you can buy movies for a gadget that doesnt even have the battery life to watch the whole film from beggining to end. Come on! That is ridiculous, even for sony!

They are, and always have been simply a fashion item. People buy them to look cool and to brag about the fact that they have one to their friends. There is nothing wrong with that. I kinda wish I had one. Not so i could play it, because I wouldnt.. Ever. But so I could be a part of the very cool newest fashion craze..

I would, seeing as when you press the power button, it just kinda pauses the game and goes on standby, so when you turn it back on, you're still in the same place.

Well that would mean having to have a television with you, and say if you're in college, you don't exactly have a spare TV lying around do you...well we don't.

Well on a full battery, my PSP has lasted at least 3 hours...whilst game sharing as well. You can easily watch a whole film on it.

I didn't buy it just to look cool, i don't care about my image...either people like me or they don't, people might think I'm cool and others don't, I really couldn't give a rats arse. I don't show off the fact that I have a PSP. I just play it when i feel like...I even play it at home for a change of going on my 360.

I would never play it if I did buy one - I just don't have the kind of life that needs a handheld. I drive to work every day and drive 3+ hours home to see the Mrs. No trains, buses, boredom time to be playing a PSP (or any other HH). When I'm bored at home, I get the 360 or PS2/3 on my HDTV. Not much point in a PSP to me, but if I had to get the train home every time I would have picked one up by now for sure.
