Rumour: Co Op in Dead Rising via DLC?

Yesterday we reported to you that EGM is claiming that Gears is getting some DLC soon and that Epic want to make changes to the achievements. Today, we have another EGM rumour for you this time concerning Capcom?s Dead Rising. If EGM are correct, you had better go get a friend and get ready to kill some zombies in co-op over Xbox Live.

In this month?s EGM, they rumour that when the platinum version of the zombie killing third person action game is released, it will include the option to play co-op with your friends via Xbox Live. They also state that this addition to the game would be available via the marketplace for those who bought the game when it was first released. However, it would unfortunately have to be paid for.

Does Dead Rising still interest you or did your love for it die with the zombies? Or did you do what I did and only rent the game because of the text that is impossible to read on SDTVs? Even if you do still enjoy killing a couple of zombies, would you pay for a feature that could be included in a platinum version at no extra cost?

I don't understand how the people who bought the game at full price have to pay extra for the Coop when people buying the Platinum version at a reduced price get it for free. I for one wont be buying the added Coop as 1. i don't have another friend i can play it with and 2. i don't think i should be made to pay for it.

i wont be getting it either, there no point. i like the game, it would have been good to have it co-op from the start but it didnt, im done with the game for the mo, BUT i probably will get the DL content if, they release more than JUST co-op, like a whole new part of the game, that has an extra 250 points to achief. that is why they have held it back so long. i wouldnt be surprised if we get content for every game released thus far.
