Please upload the whole video, so it clearly indicates that it is not a fake but the actual match between imob and KHZ. we also have probs with r game as we were winning 2-0 on gridlock and they complain of lag bearin in minds they r from a diff country so Fab leaves and sets up a new game and they complain again then we ply on there host and fab lags out! also any other teams we have plyed in tourny havent complained of our host so can we sort a reply out or sumthin il even invite sum1 to test our host as fab plys with tugsy alot he will verify that fabs host doesnt lag!!!

COMMENTS: We started with Fab17s host and we played their first map Gridlock for about 2 rounds. It lagged like madcrazy, and even his teammates said the same. Fab17 closes his computer and makes a new server. It still lags like madcrazy. The host switches to lo Bad Kid ol, which is a playable host. We win Gridlock 5-1. They change the host back to Fab17 and it lags so bad we can't even move for a while. There's nothing we can do so we lose Clocktower 5-1 due to the horrible host. Punkki FHC goes make our server with War Machine. We play a couple of rounds and they get their ass kicked uberly bad, since it's now lagging for them like Bad Kids host lagged for us. Fab17s lag must was worst ever, our server can't possibly lag that bad to them. One of their players quit in the middle of the match, they say he dropped out becouse of the lag. I look at my players list and find that he is offline, so he closed his xbox or his connection stopped working. We play the War Machine with the result 5-0 and 2 more of their players quit. Just some AJ guy is still in our server when it's time to play Old Bones. I look at my players list and find that bad kid went offline too. We wait for AJ to get his team back to the server but nothing happens for about 15 minutes, then AJ leaves the server too. I guess they decided to give up or something.

We have video material of the uberly bad lag and one of their players using the weapon slide glitch. Spooni is making the video right now and as we get it uploaded somewhere we'll post it here. We also heard a lot of **** about our nationality again, but not until they started getting their asses kicked.

Brit please, we liked Bad Kids's host much much better than yours and we told you that. Still you decided to host Clocktower without asking our opinion about it. I guess I understand, you got your ass kicked with Bad Kids's host, so you just had to switch to your host to get us lagging worse again. Congratulations for killing all four of us when we can barely move and shots from our guns come more than a second after pressing the trigger. Really, absolutely congratulations about that, that sure proves you guys rocked and rolled our world. It proves your team was all fire and brimstone and we sucked. Let the numbers speak for us, we won your map with your host 5-1.

well, if you watch the whole video you will see that there is footage from the map clocktower which as far as i understand is AFTER u had sorted your computer. And as you can see from the video its still unplayable and extremely laggy.

Sorry, it's probably not my place to post here, since i didn't play in the match, just wanted to point that out so we can get a fair result. If you mods feel like my post is inappropriate, then by all means delete it.

still the maps you finished gives them 2 wins against your 1. So instead of giving up you should have stayed and played. As it is you gave up your chance to even up the score, which means that you lost.

As I have pretty clearly stated, WE liked lo Bad Kid ol:s host and we let you know it. We can upload the whole game videos too if you want to, just to show how good Bad Kids host was compared to Fab17:s.

It's kinda funny how all four of us were trying to move forward in Clocktower but none of us could. I mean, that's proof of just one of us making himself lag right there. Tournament admninistration, just say the word and we'll upload the full match. I guess that's not necessary though, since we have clear video material of lo Bad Kid ol weapon sliding the grenades in War Machine.

I don't blame you from lag cheating or anything Fab17, but since we were only able to play in Bad Kids's host I don't understand why you forced us to go back to that lag hell.

FHC is willing to forgive Game Over for their glitching and quitting in our first map if we continue to play the match from the 1-1 situation with 2 of our hosts coming up. We beat you with your own host, let's see if you can do the same, eh?

Actually you can see all of us stuck in the same place when the lag was at its worst. When Spooni comes online I'll ask him to upload the whole game videos somewhere so you might finally understand.

Right, so here’s the deal.

The first game we played was Gridlock, we won the first two rounds and then the opposition started to complain about lag even though none of my team was experiencing the same lag.

So we play Gridlock second round, Fab disconnected the computers in his house to ensure that no extra bandwidth was being used. We played the second round and won and still they complained of lag again. So Fab decided to go and reset his modem even though again my team were not experiencing this lag.

Note that this is what the team recorded were the screen says the host has been lost is when Fab removed his cables to reset his modem, which they had agreed to, unfortunately you can’t delay the rounds so that round had already started…

If you notice the bottom of the screen, Spooni is the only member of the team who is experiencing lag issues his team mates were capable of performing fine on Fab’s host.

So we start a new game on lo Bad Kid ol host. This is the game that they win 5-1. This game was agreed to be a test to see if Io BaD Kid oI’s host was any better than Fab’s which they say was even though Io Bad Kid oI said himself it wasn’t as his mum was currently using the computer in his house. The tournament rules state that the team leader organizes the match and the fact that they wouldn’t play on Fab’s host breaks them. After the match Fab then says he wants to try his host again as we have played on it throughout the tournament and not had a problem this didn’t happen as they kept complaining meaning we never got the chance to actually play against them fairly.

Now I don’t want to make accusations but I suspect that this is a case where Finnish Hardcore are abusing the rules, after we went two nil up (in the first two rounds they happen not to include in their very conveniently edited video – where the alleged lag started) they realised they could not win and started to abuse their bandwidth.

I’m a little confused how at 1:23 anyone used the weapon slide glitch? It doesn’t show anyone using the glitch, again lies attempting to abuse the rules.

Spooni who was close to a PC, due to the fact that he was recording, started to manipulate his own bandwidth to make it look like unbearable.

So the question is what is Spooni’s internet connection speed, was someone using the internet in his house at same time, firewall up etc that caused his lag. I suggest in future he is more careful with his computer usage while competing.

Yes, this is true. What about the massive stand by (Halo 2 term, hope you all know it) just before the disconnection? Gotta say, fab17's host really, really did rock our world.

So what if his mom was using the computer? The host was still much better and we stated that after we won the first round, not after we won the map 5-1. The numbers really do speak for us: we won you with your own host 5-1 while bad kid was hosting, and we lost 5-1 on your host when fab17 was hosting.

Well excuse me for asking, but are you a retard? Maybe you should see someone do the weapon slide glitch before you make these kind of posts. Bad Kid ducks and slides forward without ever going to a cover, which means he was picking up a weapon. The bottom left screen shows that grenades are picked up. He also does his little trick right were grenades respawn. Ducking + sliding + left bottom screen shows grenades are picked up = definitive proof of you guys cheating.

Edit: By the way, if your team members would've lagged out of our host on War Machine, everyone would've got a connection error. Your team simply quit without giving us any reason.

Due to the complaints from all teams involved in the Gears of War semi-finals, we are currently working on an amicable solution to both games.

MatchBox360 operates a code of fairplay conduct, however throughout this tournament there has been an unprecedented number of complaints with regards to connections and accusations of cheating from a number of teams.

MatchBox360 has recently welcomed and opened our doors to European teams, and we fully appreciate the support of all the Euro teams currently active on MatchBox360. Unfortunately the connection issues to Europe appear to be causing problems for a number of teams whereby teams simply have an advantage based on internet connection. Obviously MatchBox360 cannot be held responsible for internet connections, however it does cause us a major problem for competitive games. We are aware that this affects all games and not just Gears of War.

We are currently discussing ways of how this matter can be resolved amicably for all teams involved, so please be patient and stop arguing as all your points have point taken on board. Thank you :cool:

MatchBox360 events staff have listened to and debated all your comments over the last few days and the outcome is as follows:

Having received numerous complaints and listened to the opinions from all teams concerned, it has been determined that in the best interests of this tournament there is absolutely nothing to be gained from forcing replays or disqualifying any team on the evidence provided. As such the results will stand and the tournament will progress with a final and 3rd place playoff accordingly.

An amicable solution of having a European Final and UK Final was discussed, however as the semi-final results have brought about those fixtures anyway it was deemed unnecessary and the official results will stand as stated above.

The lag and latency issues have no doubt had an impact on some of the fixtures in this tournament and the matter will be taken into consideration for future online events. Thanks for your co-operation and best of luck to all both teams in the Final...and the "unofficial UK Final" :cool:
