Double Shots

Hey

I was wondering when in a game do u guys double shot? Im having real trouble fitting them into games, because:

1. Im worried they wont work
2. Dont know when to
3. I panic like a *****

I can double shot fine, I just hardly ever use it. I know liam does them all the freekin time (son of a b****).

Just keep practising if you want to double shot.

Is this when you press fire and then reload then fire again really quick and it fires 2 shots then reloads without the reload action thing. I remember Ph1LzA trying to teach me something like that. It's been ages since i played Halo 2 so excuse me if im wrong. :p

That's a double double shot.
It's not wise to quad shot though because it is hard to pull off unless you use claw.

Best time to double shot:

Either -

take two normal bursts then do a double shot to finish the guy off.

or

do a double shot to weaken him then finish him off with two normal bursts.

You could bxr reload but it's not the same as having a secondary weapon.

Practise it ALOT before you start trying to use it in games. Its really easy to **** up, so try and get a good feel for it before you start using it in proper games.

Since its so hard to aim and double shot at the same time, try only using it when you know where your target is heading or when your target has very limited moving space.

A good way to practise this is on the P2 ramp in Midship FFA games. When someone is coming out of Blue or Red 1 and youre on the P2 ramp, they generally dont have anywhere to move so its a good place to shot shot doubleshot them.

Id also reccomend having a secondary since you can tap YY quickly if you **** it up. This also lets you double double shot (RRXYYRRX).

A good double double shot will drop someone in about a second. Its hard though. Mess around with it for a bit first til you have a feel for it.

i use the double shot loads its so easy to our BR people when u use the double shot. Quad shots are good but only if they are running in a straight line or going up a lift e.g midship. Trust its well worth practicising for, ill help ya out if ya want send a fr to Ginger Viking

1. You have to be confident otherwise you will probably fail.
2.Dont do it unless you have too. Do it if you are down a shot in a BR battle or someone has rockets or combo and you need to take them down quickly.
3.Stay calm don't panic lol You will get better with time and eventually you will be able to do it whenever.

Tip for claw double shotting (I claw btw)- Try to keep your middle finger and your index finger spread out, it makes it easier to push the X button with your finger. When claw double shotting you should focus on being able to push the X button hard so your double shot works :) and then aiming should come naturally.

Try placing your index finger [if not clawing] on the underside of the trigger and pulling the trigger up towards your head rather rather in towards your torso.

Your finger muscles are far stronger mechanically like that and you will have more control in teh execution of the glitch.
