Depends what you call interesting.
Personally I'd say nothing. I did quite like how they were talking about the 360: "This is all that I want, it's all in a box, it's all on my Xbox360" (Repeated several times)
I gave up halfway through, as I got bored. Anyone watch the ened? was there anything good that I've missed?

IPTV. Video on demand and streamed as soon as possible rather than the video marketplace. Live anywhere was demonstrated. Showing a PC user playing UNO on Live with a 360 user.
Pretty much it. Wasn't like the X06 keynote.

Can't view YouTube or any Media Files on my PC at College?
Anyone want to share what happened or anything important.

Seriously I wasn't joking. This was just it

Doesn't sound great although it does prove my point that nothing would of been announced at CES, so far so good :D
So whats with the IPTV?

Yeah, Toby got about all of it..
Only a few other things non 360 related: Motion desktops for your Vista PC (You can have videos as your backgrounds), "we will continue to make the zune better", Ford's new Sync technology which was pretty interesting. Basically it's a Bluetooth hub that will connect to your cell phone once you enter your car and if you want it can automatically broadcast the sound through your car stereo. It's also got ports for any Mp3 devices, even Flash drives. Oh, and voice activated!
Erm.. Bill Gates also showed some cool home technology (digital walls, voice activated kitchens) which we could have in "5 years". Nothing much usually, but it was cool that he actually had it there and was using it.

I did think that was cool.
But what about the merging photos, the flyby map with the 360 controller? So unnecessary.

Er, the merging photos could be useful in a few situations I suppose, and I don't think you can even do that with Photoshop, so it's a nice little add-in.
Think I missed the flyby.

Think I missed the flyby.
Well, I probably just can't explain it very well.
It was close to the beginning, there was Vegas, he had a 360 controller and 'flew' around with the camera. At the same time he was going on about up to date traffic information, venue details and loads of other interesting stuff (read: crap).

Hahaha. Wait, are you saying he ran around the stage and pretended the 360 controller was a plane control? And he pretended he was a plane?

This is how Engadget (http://www.engadget.com/2007/01/07/live-from-the-bill-gates-keynote/) describe it:
7:04 - Now showing off Windows Live Search, with Virtual Earth 3D tech built into Vista. Can be used with Xbox 360 controller.
7:05 - You can fly around a la Google Earth. Can include real-time traffic info.

Did you not think the photo thing was awesome! Select 2 photos and it will make the photo you wished you taken. I thought it was some powerful stuff myself. Makes me want Vista.

Well, it depends on how far you can use it. If it's only for doing small things like replacing people who've had their eyes closed, then it could be useful in a few instances (most of the time I just retake the picture)
However if you can use it to blend any 2 pictures together then that'll be a handy little tool.

Dan, you don't need to post in every single thread on this forum.
Think if you can really make a contribution to the thread before posting. ;)
