The Stig - Help!

Right a very close friend of mine is having a fancy dress karaoke party on the 30th march and i was stuck for ideas for ages and wanted to go as something that'd be really cool and funny. Then due to the new series of top gears recent arrival i thought aha! the stig!. what a good idea it seemed at the time. need help gettin a costume lol. i can find a white boiler suit pretty cheap but need a helmet and gloves and stuff. any suggestions?

A full head helmet like that, in white, is gonna be pretty expensive. I would be suprised if you can find it cheap anyway. Only way would be to find a freind who rides a motorbike and see if he knows anyone you could borry one from.

yer thats what i'm thinking is gonna be my best bet. i found the exact stig helmet on the internet but it was sumthing like $639 lol

Try ebay, you should be able to find a helmet thats been in a crash maybe even damaged and a bit of polyfilla would be fine then a bit of paints and bobs your auntie :D

lmao moose i was thinking about that actually. might still do it. or maybe cop off hot fuzz with the aviators, shotguns, and all the rest of the armoury, including the bomb! . . . ok that was a bit far wasn't it. :D

Anyway, I have a friend at work who may be supplying me a white full face helmet :D so the future's bright :D.

But, if it falls through and kinda fails then could you guys post some ideas here for me please as what to go as instead, there isn't a theme it's just 'fancy dress'. I want to go as something that wil be really impressive/different etc. cheers dudes

Yer i wanna go as something no one'll think of, summat really good. Not that i wanna be centre of attention or owt lol. Someone suggested a gladiator because the girls love guys in leather skirts which i thought wouldnt be such a bad idea. lol

The Stig wears a fireproof racing suit, so have fun finding that in your local costume shop :P
