Its difficult to decide who i think will win this tournament now, all the players left in have a good chance and it could go anyway..

But my picks... kHz Corkin (Valencia), RenegadeDS (Chelsea), Unable Corpse (Inter), Hursti (Valencia). If forced to pick one then i think that i would have to admit that i think that Unable corpse is going to be very difficult for anyone to beat playing as Inter as he is..

Well seems as though I'm out and my brother who I'd of put down as two hot players to reach the final I'll have to go with my other two who I've thought would do well.

kHz Corkin: Really shown promise in the last few weeks, has learned alot from myself (;)). Getting a better player by the day.

Renegade DS: Could of easily done better at XL with the luck on his side, like a few others.
A brilliant player who will be looking to reach the final.

GeorgeTheBest: I don't care if he was lucky to beat me or whatever excuses I've brought out. He beat me, therefore I'll put him down with a chance.

XL could have been so much different if Beckham hadn't hit the post (which would have made it 3-2 to me), but that's life. This is my chance to get back on the map!

I would also like to see either me or corkin in the final and whooping the other player due to the same fact...the top four teams absolutely suck, the only possible reason for choosing them is to win easily. I mean come on, any noob can score with Adriano, Ronaldinho, Ronaldo, Shevchenko etc.

I just checked Valencia out, and they're no mugs. The upside for the opponent, when people play with those four horseman of the apocalypse, is the fact that we've played those teams enough to know what they're about.


Who will win? I wouldn't know; judging from the group stage, I'd say Corkin, Hursti and KingFresh.

Explain this top 4 to me.. Cause as far as i am concerned it is Inter.. Then pretty much about 12 teams all capable of producing close games. Im not sure i get who these top 4 are?

But you cant forget the unbelievable Brazil side, they are just rediculously amazing, especially when people play a 4-2-4 formation, with Ronaldo, Adriano, Ronaldinho and Kaka up front, all in which can score from almost anywhere.

Yea well there is no question that Brazil are ridiculous. (Yes i know i used them at XL renegade :P )

I did think that people were saying that those four were the ones that people are on about. Im not sure that i agree though.

Personally speaking i have ridiculous amounts of trouble beating Man utd. Ferdinand, with no doubt in my mind, is the best defender on the game, and van der sar is pretty impressive also. Rooney is amazing, saha is ridiculously overrated on the game and ronaldo is almost unstoppable at times.

I think that the two of you (hursti and corkin) have proved that valencia are also pretty good. I personally found the goalkeeper (no idea what his name was) completely unpassable, and i dont usually have any trouble scoring goals. (granted i did hit the post twice and the bar, but never mind.. lol)

Henry is the best player on the game in my opinion and so you cannot count arsenal out of the top lot of teams either.

I just dont think that you can say that there is a top 4, especially when apart from Inter, i think that most teams, if you get used to playing with the players, stand a chance against each other.

I dont condone anyone who chooses inter either. As far as im concerned i have made my choice of team and you can make yours, but with Ibrahimovic AND Adriano, they really do become near unstoppable at times.

He was dragging me defence all over, the first two legs didnt do him justice

What bugs me is adriano (overrated - he's on the box for marketting reasons so he would have to have good stats), a few other inter players and especially Rooney. Their strength is ridiculous. The can hold 3 players of the ball and just bare down on the keeper. It's a tad unrealistic.

I only pick chelsea cos i've a tried and tested formation from me PS2 days. And their current formation just needs a little tweaking to get the same result. Unless someone has some tips how to stock formation data in multiplayer, it never seems to give me the option.
