So what is your favorite Wii game? Are you a hard core Zelda fan? Or, do you prefer the simplicity of games like excite truck or wii sports. And if you don't have a wii and are planning on getting one, what games are you looking to pick up?

In my opinion the only decent game is Wii Sports. I hate RPG's (I have my own life, cheers) and the rest of the games are typical launch titles, deserving scores no higher than 7. I look forward to good games hitting the Wii, in 2007. :)

True, i'll give you that, but any game where you trade between being a Pixie, and a Wolf, and back again is a no-no in my book... :p

You can tell how little you play these games at the fact you call link a pixie!!

Zelda is amazing, i will try to grab a Wii to play one asap, but for now i am getting my ps2 and ff12.

As for Wii Sports, had alot more depth than i though, for a freebie and a supposed 'demo' of what the controller can bring certainly shows promise!

You're right though, I don't play these games at all. The most i've ever played these games was Oblivion, and you can see by acheivements, it wasn't a great deal - I got bored being a carrier pigeon.

Wii sports is cool though, I agree, it is a deeper game than I expected, a million times better than Wii Play too. My dad and my brother spend a fair bit of time on those challenges and the fitness test type things...

lol, even though I love RPG's i got bored of Oblivion fairly quickly too!

The bowling challenge on Wii Sports is very good. Didnt get a chance to do the fitness things but apparently they are fun to do once a day. One of the things I like best is that it keeps track of how you perform on the game and get a graph showing where you were a pro at tennis and where you were pathetic. It is quite satisfying playing it with others, when in the likes of bowling you get a strike turkey.

The thing i was most suprised about though is because of the unique controls how well party games such as rayman can begin to stand on their own. So much so wario ware may be more welcomed this time round.

Everywhere as in the UK? Cause my mum (I am 18 I promise lol) walked into GAME a week before Christmas and picked one up. No pre order or anything. This is Cornwall though... we don't really have gamers, just old people and fields.

You answered it then, anywhere else in the UK has been sold out for ages and i wouldnt expect any to start appearing on shelves until mid-feb/march as there are still pre-orders to be filled from alot of stores.

Wow, I never realised how little of us actually found a Wii, even those who preordered missed out. Cept Mii.

Well I've finished Zelda after 70 hours of epic questing and it's simply the best game of 2006 (beating GOW hands down) still it's a joke compared to the wind waker IMO.

Wii sport's is something i'll only play when other people are around though it's surely great fun for a completely stripped of any real customisation sports game. I can't get into real sports games and I suck at real sports yet I love Wii Sports.

Those 2 alone make a Wii worth picking up already but when you run out of things to do on both as I have the Wii get's shelved for the 360.

Not to say I expected more really, you know the risks when you buy something at launch but atleast my Wii hasn't crashed yet...

The xbox360 has a great Q1 but the Wii will pick up in Q2-Q4 with all of those of killer games by Nintendo. So much more intresting than Halo3 :)

Mss Effect is Q2, Shadow Run will be pushed back over here to a Q2 at least, I also think Forza will be delayed but may be one notable title for Q1 and yes Lost Planet but that only leaves two games for Q1. Hardly a 'great Q1'. Especially considering the PS2 has God of War 2 and Final Fantasy 12.

Q1, only has GRAW 2 that I care about. It feels like time to catch up on 2006 Q4 releases until March...

Fair enough but even in comaprison it is not that great, but oh well roll on Q2 hopefully more content and news will be released about some of the bigger titles later this month as alot of them have been forgotten about! I only remebered about too human today for instance as thats apparently undergoing a major revamp!

The thing is Q2 is essentially meant to have a crazy amount of games:

*Assasins Creed
*Bio Shock
*Too Human
*Mass Effect
*Blue Dragon
*Forza 2
*C & C 3
*Stranglehold (not confirmed)

Then there are unconfirmed PS3 titles making the switch to the 360 such as Fatal Inertia around this time. I know I have missed some obvious ones aswell on top of that list.

Fave game so far has to be Zelda but Super Monkey Ball is pretty good for some Multi and Wii sports is suprisingly deep for a free game.

As for Q1 on the Wii there'e nothing I want, I don't trust the Sonic team to make anything that isn't complete crap and I heard Batallion Wars was Q2.

Rubbish - a friend of mine walked into Game on Friday morning and picked up a Wii just like that. They are about, you just need to get lucky.

And Finno, drunken 4 player Wii Sports absolutely rocks...! :D

Good news about Wii Sports! I'm really looking forward to that:D

EDIT: Maybe a stupid question here, but I'm a stupid guy... Does anyone know the best time to look for a Wii, when the shop will most likely have just got some in stock? Is Friday morning a good time? As I have mocks at the moment, I could probably get to shops pretty early on most days, and I just want to play some Wii Sports!

How is everyones holding up, i am almost giving up on my 360 and am giving serious thought to selling it. I like the fact that the Wii will be something different than pc games, so whats Wario Ware like? Ive kind of lost alot of info on the Wii lately so does anyone know when any of the other major titles are out for it?

My favorite Wii game is of course, pong What do you mean thats not for the Wii? ok well then i guss it would have to be that twilight princess game since it is amaizing, it is also the only wii game i can actually play for extended periods of time super monkey ball is too annoying and red steel is just plain boring, i'm jsut waiting for mario, supersmash bros, and zelda for the virtual arcade and i'm set
