Ok well it isnt a BEAST beast but it is ok for now. It is actually all in bits at the back because I had to tidy it all up pronto for the inlaws [those who know, know where to look], you can see some of the bulging mess coming from the drawers.

But anyway, a preview taste of what it will end up looking like minus mouse and mat which have been delayed...

The phone for scale is a... Nokia 5140 if that means anything to anyone, just a fairly bog standard chunky thing.

It's the mrs, she is tigger crazy it drives me mad, you wouldn't believe how many of the same ****ing dumb tigger she has. Then there is Tigger in pyjamas, angel tigger, happy tigger, scruffy tigger, wooly tigger...

My advice to any single guys is to turn gay, your apartment will be filled with bachelor bad cool **** with decent furnishings.

Vista scrambles the software on an ipod rendering it useless, as far as I know Apple have only released 1 Vista patch and it only allows you to play downloaded music on iTunes.

For ms word documents, you can fit about 4 pages on the damned thing in portrait mode, is nice when you are just surfung the web as well, not a lot of web apps are made for widescreen so instead I can just swivel it round and get all of MB in its entirety on it when its in portrait.

Nothing to do with looking like a fancy pants or anything.

Azure, bit of a tech question here but is that the Ultrasharp Dell monitor?? If so is it any good (Apart from the ability to swivel which is cool)? Been thinking of getting one for both PC and 360. Originally put off a bit by price but noticed they've reduced the price so it's something that what with 1920x1200 res I'm seriously contemplating. Would you recommend?

The dell is sublime.

I was waiting for the BenQ as it has a few quirks over the dell not least of which is HDMI but they ****ed up the pixel mapping. Basically, you feed it a 16:9 image and it stretches it no matter aht to 16:10.

So I waited, and waited, and waited, then got the AO3 dell, aside from being retina burningly bright the image quality on it is amazing, I have tried looking for ghosting on it and cant see any 16ms 6msg2g. I am using a 1.86 C2D at 2500mhz and a stock 1950pro and it can run games just fine on 1920x1200.

The gf who was actively trying to stop me from picking it up has said we are always having a widescreen monitor from now on...

Wifi version is better, it has a fw extra bells and whistles, but SCAN ****ed up the order and I didn't want anything more to do with them.

Depends on your budget though, if you can't afford a Core Duo then the AMD64s trounce the P4 range hands down.
